Celebrate spring with some beautiful pastel colored alfajor cookies. House of the Peruvian Cookie has these special colors this Saturday. They are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. They also are working on a special version of their cookie that contains the traditional caramel filling and blueberry jam. Of course, they sourced the blueberries for this jam from Gutierrez Farms at our market. Stop and try a sample this Saturday from 8:30 until 1:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Old Town Newhall library.
