It’s Sunday. I’m taking time to rest today and do what brings me calmness, happiness and a gentle reminder that I matter too. Sew..as I quietly sew some stitches on My projects, I think of it as Self care and self love. Tomorrow and the business can wait while I enjoy a day in therapeutic bliss. I hope that I have instilled the same in you. Enjoy your Sunday

I have some very Exciting news to share very soon. I can’t tell you just yet but The Quilted Cowgirl has some amazing things happening and we want you to be involved. Please say a prayer for one of my dear local quilting friend who is grieving terribly this morning from losing her very young daughter in a tragic vehicle accident yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with you & your family and community of Panhandle TX.
Also, I have another one in need of prayer for healing who had to have emergency surgery this week and has a lengthy recovery ahead.
Much love to both of these friends and fellow quilters
Adding the Detten family from Hereford as well. Their young daughter passed from injuries in a severe car accident as well.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words….this post should be worth 100,000. Another ahhhh-mazing adventure has been created . I am ever so thankful for my great friend Michael Davison of Michael Quilts always willing to travel to the panhandle and teach amazing classes. He and I put on an “Experience” like no other. I am so humbled to get to work alongside such great creators in our craft. 3 days go by so fast. I am forever thankful for ALL my loyal friends, my tribe …that continue on this journey and adventure in creating intricate works of art & trust me for help & guidance. Especially those who travel from other states and long distances to support me…we have great times together Thank you simply isn’t enough. We did some show n tell of our previous creations and then some pics of our current progress. Enjoy the show.

Day 2 of more awesome and beautiful achievement through our Queen of the Night. Lots of amazing times together with friends and Michael Quilts here leading our adventures. Sew much fun and I’m so proud to see our their skills being utilized. Stay tuned for the progress pics tomorrow

Day 1 of another Fantastic Journey with Michael Quilts and creating our way into Queen of the Night. I can hardly wait to show you all the beautiful colorways being created with this pattern. I am so proud of these ladies and how much they have learned and how far they have advanced their skill set. These 3 days go so fast but they work so very hard and they accomplish hard things that they never thought they could.
