Happy 2026! I started writing this last night but the right words were not there, This morning I saw a quote from my friend ! I’m about to walk into one of the greatest seasons of my life. Because here’s the truth. Everything comes down to your attitude and how you choose to see what’s happening around you. Life is always going to throw hard things your way. Bad days happen. Disappointments happen. Loss happens.
God gave us free will and with that comes a choice. You don’t get to control everything that happens to you, but you do get to control how you respond to it. You get to choose whether it hardens you or strengthens you. You get to decide if it breaks you or builds you.
So today I’m choosing Faith over Fear, gratitude over frustration, and purpose over panic. That choice is what creates the season you’re about to walk into!
So now my words. As many of you know I’ve been absent from Social Media a lot of last year, it was a year of Blessings and Heartaches, a year of Reflection and Purpose, a year of Talking to God and taking the time to listen to what he says. I had my most successful year in business but also the most stressful, a lot in part to my attitude. This year that all changes, this is a New Year with New Intentions. Less rushing, more purpose, more focus. I’m building a stronger business foundation, not just bigger but more aligned with long term vision. Building a business that feels full, not forced. Turning my back on Fear but focusing on Faith! Faith over Fear sums it all up for me and 2026! Here’s to new adventures, new projects, bigger successes and having God in my corner leading the way. Well it has been a while since I have been on social media so I wanted to bring you all up to date both personally and on business. I normally don't do personal on here but feel I need to be open with all my followers, friends and customers. My wife got sick this past spring and from the end of May through a couple of weeks ago it was a journey or hospital stays, skilled nursing and rehab stays. I am here to tell you our healthcare system is a mess. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly over the past three months. Great Doctors and Nurses, Doctors who could care less other than to get you out of the hospital, Nurses who were doing their job with an attitude and Insurance company who tell you when you are well and when to go home. I have met some awesome Home Health people that truly care about their jobs. Don't let anyone tell you that being a caregiver is easy. It is one of the hardest and most stressful things you can go through, so if you are a caregiver, have been one or know one, God Bless you and them. It has taught me humility, patience and empathy. A Home Health nurse told me, don't think you can do it alone, you have to take time for yourself. Boy was she right. You talk to God alot and sometimes you get answers and other times you wait for answers. Only He knows what is down the road on this journey and I trust Him with all my heart.
On the Business side as you can see Dirty Hands has outgrown my quaint little shop that I started with and moved into a new facilty. I am up and running and will give you a tour once everything is moved in and in place. In the middle of all this I landed my biggest Wholesale account so talk about more stress. But God and I talked it out and it's all good. I hired a part time employee and they took off running from day one with little coaching so that was a relief. Dirty Hands is here to stay and our Vison has changed a bit to the 4F's FAITH - FAMILY - FRONTIER - FRAGRANCE. Still True to our core beliefs and giving you the best we can everyday.
I took that nurses advice and took a day for myselt, not to rest but to take care of things I have neglected or did not have time for and I can truly say that at the end of today I am most Happy when my Hands are Dirty. Thanks to all the hard working Americans who work with their hands everyday and make this country strong. Whatever you hand finds to do, do it with all your might, Ecclesiastes 9:10
