These air bnb rules are ridiculous. What is stopping people from committing crimes on the property like for instance getting drugs delivered, human trafficking, etc… If guests do not need to sign an agreement or give their real name, address, phone number or email address. They can just use a prepaid card to pay with & have no paper trail. This is wild that this would be allowed. Then if a crime is committed on the property who is responsible, does it fall back on the owner? I see some law suits in air bnb’s future.

So air bnb won’t let owners guests sign contracts or ask for ID. That is ridiculous what protects the property or owners from someone that uses the house has a party house or is doing illegal activity? People can use a fake name & prepaid credit card & the owners are screwed. I wonder how that is going to go over in the UK where the government requires the passport from people from other countries. Air bnb should be behind the owners without them they would have no business. They are getting greedy.

Daylight Saving Time ends in two weeks, on Sunday, November 1. The time changes at 2:00 a.m., when most people are asleep. Consider changing your clocks before bed on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31, to avoid confusion in the morning! 🎃

Of course, not all states abide by Daylight Saving Time. Most of the states do, but Hawaii and most of Arizona do not. One notable exception in Arizona is the Navajo Nation—they do observe Daylight Saving Time. The U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands also do not observe Daylight Saving Time.

Common perception is that Daylight Saving Time was created to help farmers gain more time in the fields. However, that lore isn't true. The United States started using Daylight Saving Time in 1918 during World War I to help reduce the use of electricity.
