Details of a wedding this large scale can feel overwhelming but our bride 𝒮𝒶𝓂 🌻 was up for the task; beginning by selecting The Star Barn for her wedding venue.
I was beyond happy to bring Samantha’s floral dreams to life. With romantic antique elegance as the theme, incorporating botanical details of baby’s breath, wisteria, hydrangea, vines across 2 arches, a bar cascade & urn, ground florals, centerpieces, candelabras….basically ALL the Floral THINGS.
Textures are my favorite floral detail - especially when arrangements are just as interesting closeup as they are across the room.

The most perfect June wedding of warm pastel flowers set off beautifully against blue bridesmaid dresses and a ceremony tree cascade to swoon over.
Two Mile House in Carlisle, PA was the perfect historic venue for a wedding with plenty of room for diy elements. The rain hit right after the couples vows but Planned Perfection had everything coordinated and ready for a quick move to the patio reception tent.

This sweet bouquet deserved a spot on the grid. A special order for personal flowers (bouquets and boutonnieres) to the lovely venue Lauxmont Weddings o relooking the Susquehanna River.

Maybe it was just the day or my mood but the location hit me hard with near tears of joy. The landscape was a sensory overload coalescing at one moment: horse pastures, split rail fences, dewy grass, sweeping views, water, European/French architecture. Honestly, if there was a heirloom smell of fresh-cut grass or creosote, I may have questioned if I died and gone to heaven. Some memories stay with us forever and this place reminded me of summertime at my grandparent’s Bloomsburg, PA horse farm.
Maybe it was Heaven after all.

Paige and Corey knew exactly what they wanted 2 years ago when they booked Elizabeth • Central PA Floral Design • Flower Farm Now they feel like old friends from 2024 and I couldn’t be happier for them! Beyond designing their florals, all I want do is cheer them on for a life full of blessings.

Blue and white florals are a classic request, I receive several times each season so forgive me when I nudge around asking brides the why behind their palette choice. Color is an evocative element in any design and blue and white certainly has a calm elegance. I for one, am never satisfied with a straightforward color recipe. I like to add “sprinkles”. In this case, Paige agreed to a bit of peach - and it was just what the blue delphiniums (and this designer) needed.
Now, absolutely nothing compares to how stunning Paige looks in her dress with Corey in her arms. Elaine Gates Photography captured it all so perfectly.

Gardens need not be tamed into manicured neatness. Yes, I’ve tried but quickly concluded, it’s an unrealistic expectation. You cannot control something so vigorously alive without quieting the wild thing that makes it so beautiful to begin with.

August-October is when the plants exert their will and prevail most ardently over my own. I can’t bear to cut them back now.
This exclamation point on a 2026 cutting garden is on full display and I shall soak it in each day until frost.🥹

Artsy, celestial, color-explosion🎉 was planned for months but sometimes life gets in the way of the party. Believe me, I was sad to see this floral booking disappear but I knew it was the best choice. R&S deserved to have the most perfect day of their lives.
Just look at these photos by ! !She captured the magic of two people intimately tethered to each other and the earth.
I wish them many years of marriage featuring this exact emotion: love surrounded by possibilities and adventure. ❤️

Très Bonne Année | Advancing Arts, Culture and Education Patron’s Party and auction was a resounding success raising money for the Whitaker Center for Science and Art and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. The Willows of Ashcombe Mansion in Mechanicsburg, PA served up outstanding food, w**e and entertainment putting guests in bidding mood. Coveted auction items included rare w**es, catered dinners and tickets to the ballet.

Experimenting with flowers🥰I’m away from the studio this weekend but Oh! These flowers! I can NOT resist. The colors are like a summer dessert of strawberry, peaches, and cream. So sweet- even if a few days aged in the cooler. I love this color combo with the pistachio green playing off the pink.
