FENG SHUI for ABUNDANCE.
With the current economic situation, I thought I’d share some helpful feng shui tips that have been very useful for myself and clients.
First, a little background:
After my time as a business analyst for AT&T, I realized I needed to work for myself. At the time I was healing from an injury and all I had was my laptop and telephone. I started doing relationship coaching because a friend asked me to help him with his dating goals. At the same time I was introduced to feng shui wisdom. Soon I realized that the dating and relationship clients needed better feng shui in their home and office. And my feng shui clients often needed relationship coaching.
I thought the two practices went together nicely, but turns out they are best left separate.
So I kept studying both.
After more than 20 years now, I have accumulated quite a bit of practice in both areas. If you feel challenged financially, you might want to explore some of these tips:
FENG SHUI for ABUNDANCE
Part One:
Preparing your Space for Wealth Building
DE-CLUTTER
Clear the clutter! No doubt you’ve heard this a few times before. Make sure that you have cleared any clutter from the collective Money corner, Southeast, as well as your personal money corner. If you don’t know your personal money corner, you’ll have to ask me to do a calculation for you. You may be able to find this information on the Internet as well.
Clear the clutter that may be somewhere between the curb and your front door.
CHI FLOW
Next, make sure that the energy flows into your home gracefully & navigates through your home and out the back door into a backyard that hopefully is enclosed, so you keep your wealth once you grow it.
ORGANIZATION
What people often overlook is the importance of organizing paper and electronic files. This is huge. It may feel tedious, but the benefits are tremendous. Make sure all your files are well organized and designated.
Create a system that works for you.
HARMONY
Also, you must make sure that you have no poison arrows pointing toward you at any time, but especially when you are seated at your desk or a place in your home or office that you frequently use.
DRAINS
If you have a toilet, sink, dishwasher, shower, bathtub, washing machine, etc., in either the collective or feng shui corner, try not to use it. Hopefully you’ll have an alternative option that you can use.
FURNISHINGS
Make sure your furnishings are all very pleasing to your eyes, ears, nose, and touch. You can add taste if you like. Lol.
WATER
Water features by your front door should only be to the left of the front door as you exit the front door. Creeks, rivers and streams should not be in the backyard, only out the front of the house.
ELEMENTS
Make sure there is elemental balance in your home:
Wood, water, metal, earth and fire.
These can also be presented with shapes:
Rectangular, wavy, circular, square, triangular, or jagged.
And colors:
Purple/blue/green, black and blue, metallic, white or multicolored, very light, pink, very light, yellow, beige Brown and earthy colors.
And of course, fire is represented by red and orange mostly
You can also bring in elements through artwork that depict such things like mountains, ocean, etc. but the depictions should be peaceful and bring a sense of harmony into your home or office.
WARDROBE
Organize your closet and separate your business clothes from your leisure time activities. Again, organization in every area of your home is tremendously helpful. Besides being good for feng shui it’s also excellent for your time management.
JOURNALING
Next, you may not immediately comprehend this, but journaling on your wildest dreams and creating a budget for it is a technique. I learned from the Abraham teachings which has been exceedingly helpful.
Journaling the affirmations of your abundance is also helpful.
Speaking your affirmations of abundance is really powerful when you do so from a deep, emotional and happy place.
Remember, all day, every day, you only have one thing to do, and that is, GET HAPPY!
Enjoy the journey… And stay tuned for Part 2!
