If your baby co-sleeper or bedside bassinet does not line up flush with your mattress, you end up with a dangerous height gap that makes middle-of-the-night care a physical strain.

You do not need to replace your entire mattress to fix an uneven sleeping height. The mechanical fix comes down to what sits underneath it. By swapping out standard box springs for low-profile 2-inch, 4-inch, or traditional 9-inch foundations, we can fine-tune your mattress surface to match your co-sleeper perfectly.

Bring your bed and bassinet measurements to Live Well Mattress & Furnishing Centres in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Come see me, and we will get your bed height dialed in for a safer, easier sleep setup.

Choosing between a Full and a Queen mattress usually comes down to room layout or budget, but cutting down to a Full-size bed can severely compromise your sleep and physical alignment.

When you place a 54x75 inch Full-size base directly on a 60x80 inch Queen mattress, the physical reality is immediately clear. You lose 6 inches of width on the sides and 5 inches of length at the bottom. For most adults, that missing space forces your shoulders and limbs off the sleeping surface, leading to toss-and-turn pressure points throughout the night.

A Queen mattress fits the vast majority of standard bedrooms without issue. Unless bulky furniture severely blocks your walkways, saving $100 to $200 by stepping down to a Full size is rarely worth the loss of night-after-night comfort.

Come see me at Live Well in Alamogordo. I will help you measure your room accurately and get you on the right size bed so you can wake up rested and pain-free.

Waking up with lower back stiffness even after buying a new bed? Your old foundation might be collapsing under your body weight without you realizing it.

In this video, I break down why salespeople insist on a new box spring and why it directly impacts your sleep health. Your mattress consists of comfort layers like foam and coils, but it has no rigid internal structure to hold your weight on its own. Every pound of downforce pressure transfers straight into the foundation below, causing older box springs to bow and give way over time. Putting a new bed on a sagging base destroys your spinal alignment and voids your warranty protection.

Stop by and see me at Live Well in Alamogordo so we can get your mattress supported on a solid, level foundation.

Putting a spring or hybrid mattress on a wire grid platform is a recipe for mattress failure. While wire grid frames might hold up lightweight all-foam beds, heavy innerspring coils slip right through those wire gaps under your body weight.

Watch as Javier shows you why a 1.5 to 2-inch bunkie board provides the flat, solid barrier your springs need to stay locked in place and keep your spine aligned.

Stop by Live Well Mattress & Furnishing Centres in Alamogordo to get your mattress and foundation setup right the first time.
