Returned to my alma mater University of Virginia for my reunion this weekend and had an absolute ball! 🧡💙

Imagine my delight when I discovered that the sorority house where I lived 20 years ago is planted with the exact same Rozanne geraniums we have outside HOC! 🤩 No clue if they were there back then, but for the sake of the narrative, let’s assume they were. 😉Apparently my geranium obsession was predestined. ✨✨💜 Wahoowa forever!

Spent my weekend working on this gallery wall and HOLE-Y lord 😉 are there a lot of extra nail holes!! 🔨🔨🔨 At first when we decided to put a gallery wall on this two-story, 22 foot wall, I said I was going to be **super strategic** would lay it all out in advance, tape up each piece, etc. But then I got a bee in my bonnet and started hammering away 🤷🏻‍♀️ It has taken days to get this far (only 2/3rds of the way up- still a total WIP!) but I’m just telling myself to trust the process, let it flow ✌🏻have fun, and most importantly: there’s always spackle!!! 😘🙌🏻🖼️

I 💜 shopkeeping! In the early days, people always asked how I was doing — how hard it was, how I was surviving — and the answer was… kind of great, actually. Even then, I was having so much FUN.

Building a store around things I love — brands I’ve long admired, historical references, artwork I’m in awe of — in this little paradise by the sea still feels like a dream.
