Dear Valued Customers,

On Monday afternoon, my wife and I were struck by a car that ran a stop sign at the intersection of Route 2 and Roussin Road in Newport. I suffered a broken sternum, broken ribs, and several other injuries. My wife’s injuries are more severe, including a compound fracture of her tibia and fibula in one leg, a fracture below the knee in the other leg, broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a fractured disc in her back.

I’ve returned home from the hospital and am now in recovery, but my wife is still hospitalized and is expected to be discharged soon. As of now, we have not received any information regarding the other driver involved.

Although these injuries will impact our production this year, we want to assure you that Batch Concrete Products remains open for business. Our son, Nick Batchelder, will be stepping in to oversee operations and continue producing new inventory, including new products. We are fully stocked and ready to serve you. Our current hours are Tuesday through Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

We are deeply grateful for your continued support during this difficult time, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding and loyalty.
