At we partner with to bring plants into our shop for Yinz to purchase. Whether you’re looking through our plants in the front window, or the grow lights in the corner of our front room, Gina keeps us stocked with a wide array of plants for all your wants and needs.


While you’re here pick up a book on plants or our gorgeous, glass watering can.

Come one, come all! Tiger Moth Mercantile is hosting an Open House during Carnegie Second Fridays on May 8th! Enjoy a free glass of wine and sample our local snacks while perusing the store. Tiger Moth Mercantile takes flight on March 20th.

This incredible hand-painted logo was custom made for us by watercolorist Lisa Mayhew (Moss & Trove), whose work we sell over at Woolly Bear Books.

Tiger moths are the adult form of woolly bear caterpillars, so our logo represents a new stage for insects AND the next natural step for us as a small business.

We are so excited to welcome you all in and to be able to offer another space for folks to connect, discover, and take home some one-of-a-kind treasures.

East Main Mercantile is officially wrapped up for 2025.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shopped local, shared kind words, and supported this little shop along the way. Bringing this project to life has been such a joy, and getting to meet so many wonderful people along the way has meant more than we can put into words. We are truly grateful for you.

The Mercantile will be closed for a bit as the space transitions, but this isn’t the end of the story. Soon, the shop will live on under new ownership. Mike, who also owns will be taking over the space and continuing the Mercantile story with his team.

We could not be happier knowing the shop is in such good hands, and we are so excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of this chapter. 💛
