Since then, Michelle has grown her design business through her talent, skill, and commitment to her clients. Cold cream.

Skincare likes to stay cool, so I tucked a refrigerated drawer right into the vanity. Serums, eye creams, and the good stuff you save for special occasions all live at your fingertips while you're getting ready. Brass pulls to match the rest of the bath, and a marble top that makes every morning feel a little more luxurious.

Face time.

One long partner desk and two leather chairs pulled up across from each other, so the workday comes with a little company built in. I wrapped the whole room in teal, ceiling included, and it feels like the kind of study you'd happily lose an afternoon in. Poster child.

A four poster bed in pale wood frames the room without closing it in. I kept everything around it soft: layered linens in blue and white, a woven pendant hanging low over the nightstand, and just enough texture to make you want to crawl in early. Rose to the occasion.

A green marble side table this dramatic wants something soft sitting on top of it. Garden roses, a little stock, a candle under glass, and a stack of travel books for anyone who'd like to daydream about Palm Beach for a minute. Vein glorious.

Some stone does all the talking so I let it. Book-matched marble climbs the back wall, the tub tucks inside the glass with the shower, and the whole wet zone reads as one calm, quiet room. There's a bench for your towel and a niche right where your hand goes looking for the shampoo. Swipe for the vanity, where a scalloped tile gets to have a little more fun.

Room service.

A carafe of water, fresh flowers, and a candle, all set out on a woven tray. I love building a moment like this into a bedroom. The last few minutes of your day deserve a little ceremony. Forest bathing.

There's a whole practice behind the phrase, the idea that time among trees slows you down and quiets a busy mind. I can't plant a forest in a bathroom, but I can wrap one around you. The wallpaper climbs every wall, teal tile covers the floor and lines the shower, and brass shows up just enough to catch the light. Tree house.

A family room should let everybody exhale so we kept the palette soft and the seating low. The watercolor mural washes across the wall, the reeded surround gives the TV somewhere handsome to live, and a pair of woven poufs sits ready for whoever claims the floor first. The tree just moved in and made itself at home.

Wash and wear.

This laundry room is more than five years old and we'd install every inch of it again today. The tile carries the whole space, the open shelves keep the baskets honest, and the washer has never looked better in a photo it didn't ask to be in. Swipe through.
