✨ WHERE THE SOUL LEARNS SURRENDER ✨

For years, I found myself trapped in cycles of rejection, shame, fear, striving, and confusion. What began as wounds in childhood followed me into friendships, relationships, church experiences, ministry, and even the way I viewed myself.

I spent years trying to understand why I felt stuck.

Why old pain seemed to resurface.

Why I would find myself returning to the same fears, the same thought patterns, and the same questions.

But through Christ, I began learning that healing is not found in pretending wounds don't exist.

It is found in surrender.

In allowing Jesus to enter the hidden places of the heart and heal the roots beneath the surface.

This spoken word is a reflection on that journey.

A journey of renewing the mind, laying down old burdens, confronting the lies that keep us bound, and returning to the Rock when the past echoes through the heart.

If you've ever wrestled with rejection, shame, fear, soul wounds, or the feeling that you're starting over again, I pray this encourages you.

Because Jesus did not come to simply improve the old creation.

He came to make all things new.

✨ WHERE THE SOUL LEARNS SURRENDER ✨

A spoken word piece about healing the hidden places of the heart through Christ.

This piece was born from reflecting on emotional triggers, old wounds, rejection, condemnation, and the way the past can echo through our minds when pain resurfaces. But through it all, God has been teaching me that true healing is not found in striving harder or trying to save ourselves — it is found in surrendering fully to Jesus Christ and allowing Him to heal the roots beneath the surface.

“Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

If you've ever felt trapped between bo***ge and freedom, wrestling with old thought patterns, shame, fear, or soul wounds that seem to pull you backward, I pray this spoken word reminds you that healing is possible through Christ.

He is still renewing minds.
Still healing hearts.
Still making all things new.

Have you ever felt like you were finally moving forward… only to be pulled right back into old wounds, fears, and thought patterns?

I recently found myself there again.

But God reminded me that just because an old wound is touched doesn't mean you've lost your healing.

Sometimes we think we need to restart our lives when God is simply calling us back to the foundation He has already been building.

This carousel shares what the Lord showed me about triggers, condemnation, renewal of the mind, and returning to Christ when we feel stuck.

For years, I thought I was just inconsistent.
Lazy.
Too emotional.
Too overwhelmed to move forward.

But beneath the confusion, perfectionism, fear, pride, delay, control, and constant mental chaos… there was a deeper spiritual battle happening.

In this video, I share part of my personal testimony and what God began revealing to me about the spirit of delay, spiritual warfare, and the cycles that kept me stuck for years.

We’re talking about:
• confusion & double-mindedness
• perfectionism and fear disguised as control
• pride, blame shifting & dishonesty
• spiritual oppression and mental chaos
• the importance of renewing the mind through Christ
• how God began leading me into peace, discipline, healing, and freedom

This is not about fear.
This is about exposure, discernment, healing, and freedom through Jesus Christ.

If you’ve felt stuck spiritually, mentally, emotionally, or even physically — I pray this video encourages you to seek God deeply and walk in the freedom and clarity He has for you.

“God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33
