Harriet's Treadle Arts, a family owned and run quilt shop, since 1981, was located the western suburbs of Denver, Colorado. In 2017, due to a family health issue, we chose to close our doors on 37 years of helping quilters. Harriet, her daughter Carrie and Carrie’s husband David and son Zachary, all picked up and moved to the wilds of rural Missouri to take on a new project in life. Now in 2019 we
are happy to announce that we are reopening our re-imagined quilt shop on our farm: Farm Stand Quilt Shop. Farm Stand Quilt Shop is the new home of Harriet’s website: www.harriethargrave.com as well as being open for business in June 2019. At only 1/10th the size of our former home in Colorado our new little store packs a punch! We will still specialize in educating quilters in the art and skills of quilting. Offering quilting classes on a semester system that range from beginners and technique only classes to advanced classes and boot camps. While the Farm Stand Quilt Shop won’t carry much fabric we will have a wide and varied selection of notions, books and patterns and especially batting to support any quilter's habit. So if you are ever passing through Missouri on I-70, were just a quick half hour north of the interstate about an hour east of Kansas City. Please call ahead if you will be here at a time other than our hours listed, someone is almost always at the farm and we’d be glad to greet you if you would like to stop by!
