I’ve spent 27 years in the multifamily flooring industry and have been through many mergers and acquisitions. It’s like getting a new job without leaving a company I enjoy working for. I started with Solar Contract, which was purchased by Criterion Supply. Criterion Supply and Brock Interiors then merged—and I think you’ve heard the rest of the story from there. While each transition brings change, it also brings opportunity, and I’m excited to be part of this next chapter with Impact, overseeing sales across California.
Outside of work, my world revolves around my family. My wife, Carol, and I have been together for over 30 years. We’re now empty nesters and enjoy spending time at home and traveling to visit family. I’m the youngest of nine (a twin), and Carol is the eldest of four.
Our son, Cameron, is 21 and graduating from UC Berkeley next month. He’s been accepted into several Math PhD programs and has chosen Cornell—an exciting milestone for our family. It looks like Carol and I will be making a few trips to New York.
With Cameron out of the house, we’ve officially become the “cat house” in the neighborhood. We have two 18-month-old Maine Coons—yes, we built a catio. Evidently, we are not a family that takes pictures of ourselves, as I am scrolling through two phones and all I find are pictures of floors and the cats. 😂
Looking forward to what’s ahead and continuing to build together!
