Williamson County, Tennessee Cherry Jackson Press (or server) dating from the Second Quarter of the 19th Century (circa 1830–1840). This press features full-length turned support columns flanking the front facade that terminate into extended, turned feet. This distinctive high-stance, bold column styling is an iconic regional hallmark of Middle and East Tennessee cabinetmaking. Great construction exists throughout this piece with dovetail drawers, mortise work, and beautifully chamfered boards.
