🎀 No One Fights Alone 🩷

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and at Harris & Co. Floral Bar, we’re honoring the strength, courage, and resilience of those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

We’ve had the privilege of creating florals for breast cancer awareness events, and each pink bloom has carried a meaning far beyond its beauty. A symbol of hope, a gesture of love, and a reminder that no one should have to walk this journey alone.

🩷To the survivors…we celebrate you.

🩷 To the loved ones we’ve lost…we honor your memory.

🩷 To the families, caregivers, and communities showing up every day…we see you.

Culture, community, and a little something in bloom.

Our Culture in Bloom floral bar was such a beautiful experience! From hand-selecting blooms to creating bouquets that reflected each person’s own style, every moment was a reminder of why we love bringing people together through flowers.

A little creativity, meaningful connections, and beautiful blooms …that’s our kind of gathering.

Modern, classic, and a little rain-plan magic 🌦️

This weekend brought us to The Carolina Barn in Spring Lake, where Mother Nature called for a little wedding-day pivot.

The ceremony moved under cover, the florals found their new home, and the vision still came together beautifully with timeless white blooms, soft greenery, and an airy, garden-inspired feel against that gorgeous wood arbor.

And because every good pivot needs a good team, my bestie was right there assisting me through it all.

Rain plan? No problem. We make the flowers work wherever “I do” happens.

Saturday’s romance is officially in the works…

Buckets of Tibet + Playa Blanca roses, ranunculus, calla lilies, delicate orlaya and other natural elements for that soft, garden-inspired texture.

All headed to The Carolina Barn this weekend for a wedding filled with timeless whites, movement, and a whole lot of romance.

Allow me to reintroduce myself…

I’m Brittany, the hands behind Harris & Co. Floral Bar. Harris & Co. is growing, and so am I.

Flowers have a deeper meaning for me than simply creating something beautiful.

My Grandma was a florist in Apex for over 40 years (Judd’s Florist) and one of the few Black florists in the area during her time. She was ahead of her time and the definition of a boss! I don’t think I fully understood how special that connection was when I started, but I certainly do now.

Today, I get to carry a little of that legacy forward while creating something that feels distinctly my own: garden-inspired florals, thoughtful details, and celebrations that feel personal.

Around here, you’ll still find plenty of flowers, probably too many vintage vessels, floral meadows, behind-the-scenes moments and whatever idea I’ve dreamed up next.

There’s still so much I want to create and so many places I want to explore.

This is Harris & Co…. I’m so excited about where we’re going next.
