VJ307 PRICING DISCLAIMER
Prices are subject to change based on design complexity, material availability, what we currently have on hand, how many changes you make after saying “that’s perfect,” and how fast you need it because somehow “no rush” always turns into “I need it by tomorrow morning.”
Rush jobs may cost more.
Custom design work may cost more.
Last-minute changes may cost more.
Changing your mind after production starts will definitely cost more.
And yes, attitude matters too. Excessive complaining, unrealistic expectations, repeated “quick little changes,” mystery screenshots with no explanation, or generally acting like a full-time pain in the ass may result in an added PITA Fee.
CUSTOMER EXAMPLES THAT MAY TRIGGER THE PITA FEE
Sublimation Customer Examples
* “Can you make this blurry Facebook screenshot high resolution?”
* “I found this on Pinterest. I want the exact same thing, but also different.”
* “Can you fit all 37 names, 12 photos, 4 quotes, and a Bible verse on this one small tumbler?”
* “Can you make it sparkle, pop, glow, stand out, look classy, and not be too much?”
* “I need this shirt done today, but I still haven’t sent you the sizes.”
* “Can you put this on a shirt?”
sends a photo of a photo of a screenshot
Laser Engraving Customer Examples
* “Can you engrave this super detailed photo on wood and make it look exactly like the original?”
* “Can you make it darker… no lighter… no darker again?”
* “Can you put a lot more detail in this tiny tag?”
* “It’s only a small engraving, so it should be cheap, right?”
* “Can you center it better?”
It is already centered.
* “Can you fix my spelling?”
after approving the proof with the spelling error
3D Printing Customer Examples
* “Can you print this huge item in the next hour?”
* “I need it strong, lightweight, flexible, heat-resistant, perfect, and cheap.”
* “Can you make me one little part?”
The part is 14 hours of print time and needs support cleanup.
* “Can you make this file printable?”
The file looks like it was built by a drunken raccoon.
* “Why does it cost more?”
Because plastic is not free, time is not free, and failed prints are definitely not free.
* “Can you just hit print?”
No, Kevin. That is not how any of this works.
UNIVERSAL PITA CLASSICS
* “I don’t know what I want, but I’ll know it when I see it.”
* “Can you send me like 15 mockups?”
* “It’s just one little change.”
This is change #11.
* “My buddy can do it cheaper.”
* “Can you match this exactly?”
No file, no font, no measurements, no useful information provided.
* “I need it ASAP.”
Order placed emotionally at 10:36 PM.
* “Can you move everything around but keep it the same?”
* “Can you make it bigger?”
“Actually smaller.”
“Maybe bigger again.”
