When one of my longest standing customers (we’re talking 20 years guys) needed flowers for one of my favorite local authors, you KNOW I had to make them fun!!! This arrangement was made for Leslie Colburn—you might know her as the owner of The Cottage! Her new book is Jilly Goat, and I was lucky enough to make the flowers for her book launch! So naturally… I matched the flowers to the book cover. Because around here, we take our local authors (and our flowers) seriously! 😉 Congratulations on another great book, Leslie Colburn Author! We’re so excited for you!!!

🌸 A LITTLE CONFESSION FROM YOUR FAVORITE FLORIST… 🌸

I became a florist because I LOVE flowers, they’re my passion! I did not become a florist because I’m particularly gifted at this whole “keeping up with social media” thing. 😂 So yes… I’m sorry I haven’t posted much lately. I’ve been busy doing what I actually love—making beautiful things and occasionally remembering that Facebook and Instagram exist!!! 🤦‍♀️😂

💐 I’M BACK! 💐

Thank you all SO much for the sweet messages, well wishes, and checking in on me while I was home sick. You guys really are the best! 🥹 I’m back at the shop today and feeling MUCH better! And apparently, Rebecca understood the assignment… because she showed up with COFFEE ☕️😂 (she may just have secured her position as favorite delivery driver-but don’t tell her…or Wendy 🤣)!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE FLOWER SHOP 🚨
The flower lady has officially been taken out by the germs. 🤦‍♀️ I went home sick today because apparently my immune system decided it needed a little vacation. But fear not, flower friends! I’ll be back tomorrow and ready to get back to slinging flowers, answering the phone, and pretending I have my life together. 😂💐

Today’s agenda: couch. blankets. fluids. absolutely no adulting. Thanks for understanding — and if you see me tomorrow, please bring coffee… or flowers. I’m not picky. 😂🌸

🎉 Great news, flower friends! 🌸

Wendy's kidney transplant was a success, and after SEVERAL days of healing, she gets to come HOME! ❤️
While she still has a long road of recovery ahead of her, we're so thankful she's well enough to be surrounded by her dogs and the amazing family and friends who have been by her side through it all.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every prayer, kind thought, good vibe, and encouraging message you've sent. We truly believe they've made a difference. Our little flower shop has always been about more than flowers—it's about people. And it's all of you who keep both of us going each and every day. Thank you for loving Wendy as much as we do
