Many arch window treatments require additional steps in both the design and fabrication process. First, the arch must be carefully templated to determine the exact placement of the hardware. From there, the ring placement is determined and welded into the hardware, and the template is sent to the fabricator. A custom arch pattern is then created for the top of the drapery.

While these additional steps require precision and attention to detail, they result in a truly custom window treatment—beautifully tailored, expertly executed, and designed specifically for the unique architecture of the space.

People never realize the work that goes into fabricating a custom drapes.

It all starts with finding the perfect fabric, hardware, and complementary lining.

When the materials have arrived, we inspect the fabric for flaws.( Once it is cut, you can't return it and that could be big $$$$). Then we plan the final width of the fabric panel using the special Forest Wave tape and spacing out folds, return, and lead edge. Next, we cut fabric and lining, sew bottom hems. Now it is time to "table" the drape layers and hand sew the side hems. We move to the header, sew the Forest Wavetape to the panel and place the "hooks" in their planned position. Side corners on top are hand stitched. Now we head down the home stretch- fan fold and bag drapes for delivery.
