Sutton Authentic Woodworking I make things out of wood. I hope you like them. There is a value and a time and a place for mass-produced furniture and assembly line products.

But sometimes it's good to slow down, do something unique in a slow and difficult way, and end up with a project to be proud of. Every piece in this shop is handmade by me. I don't think anything is perfect, and no two pieces are exactly the same - that's what mass-production is for. There is life and character and charm in every piece, every imperfection.

We got these rad storage boxes, and we thought it'd be a great opportunity to add some seating in our kitchen area AND (pleeeeease) clean up a little. Pine+paint=solution. Just need to choose a fabric design and make (or ask grandma to make) a cushion for the top. :)
