CreationsUCrave is heartbroken to share that we’ve lost our greatest inspiration, our Papá—our heart and soul.
He was our cheerleader, our boss, our heart, our soul—our everything.
Papá carried the spirit and teachings of his mother, our Mamita María “Minga,” and made sure those traditions were never lost. He passed them down with pride to his nine children, 18 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and one more on the way.
He leaves behind our Mama, his beloved wife for 55 years, who continues to hold our roots and traditions with grace and strength.
If you ever bought any of our Nicaraguan food, Papá had a hand in it—he either approved the quality or, in the case of our Nacatamales, he was the one making them with our Mama. Every bite carried his care, his pride, and his love.
Papá didn’t just love his own—he made everyone feel like family. When he called you his baby, you felt the warmth, protection, and unconditional love he gave so effortlessly.
We will miss him every single day.
But we promise to make him proud.
We will keep cooking with love, just like he did.
And one day, we’ll open that restaurant—for him.
We love you, papá.
