🇨🇭 This trip was Lilah's graduation gift. Just the two of us setting off on one last big adventure before her next chapter begins.

Getting here was an adventure all by itself. Planes, trains, buses, boats, cable cars, cogwheel railways, and plenty of walking. We were awake for nearly 24 hours straight by the time we arrived, running on excitement, airport coffee, and pure determination..... but it was completely worth it.

Since landing in Switzerland, we've wandered through centuries-old streets, crossed historic bridges, stood above the clouds on Mount Pilatus, watched rain move across the mountains, ridden trains through the Swiss countryside, and experienced some of the most beautiful scenery either of us has ever seen.

The scenery has been incredible, but my favorite part has been the time together. These are the moments I'll remember long after the trip is over.

Next stop: Basel and our Rhine River cruise. ❤️🇨🇭

📍 We thought we had our Haberdashery home picked out in Bellville.

But God had other plans.🤍

Instead, He led us right back to Cat Spring 🏡to a place that’s been part of this community for nearly 100 years.

This building, established in the 1920s, once served as a general store… and for the past 20 years, many of you knew it as Mustang Alley.

We’re grateful to share that our offer on this historic building has officially been accepted.

And now, it begins its next chapter as The Haberdashery.🪵⚒️

More than a men’s store, this will be a place to gather, slow down, and connect. A space rooted in community, built with intention, and shaped by the ranch-to-town way of life.

We’re honored to carry on the story of this building and even more grateful to do it right here at home.

Out with the old, in with the new—but not without appreciation for what came before.

This week, we took down a nearly century-old house from the 1920s to make way for something new. These walls had a long history, standing through generations of change, but as times evolve, so does the built environment.

Now, we’re breaking ground on a modern, purpose-driven space that will serve the next generation. While the old structure had its charm, our goal is to build something even more impactful—efficient, functional, and built to stand for the next 100 years.
