Happy
We love our dogs and couldn’t imagine life without them. Having a pet is a huge responsibility but the love, affection, loyalty and admiration they give us daily makes it all worth while. Neither one of us can imagine life without a dog in it. In fact, for most of our adult lives, we’ve had a least one dog if not more at one time!
So are you wondering with all these dogs running in and out of our homes all the time, how do we keep our homes clean and doggie odor free? One fo the most important things we’ve done over time is use fabrics on most of our upholstered pieces. These fabrics are easy to maintain, come in all kinds of and . Because they are so easy to maintain, cleaning up the hair, bone crumbs or accidents that are bound to happen with dogs…or kids for that matter :)much less time consuming than you would think. This gives us more time to spend playing with our pups!

Our client, a property manager for a high rise residential building in , asked us to design this lounge/kitchenette for their staff. She wanted a place were the staff could unwind, take a break and recharge during the work day. The room isn’t getting much use now as most of the staff is . But, we know at some point, the room will be filled with the smells of yummy food being warmed up along with good conversation and laughter.
During this pandemic time in our lives, when so many of us are , missing family, friends and colleagues, it’s so important to find and in the little things. Iris and I live on opposite sides of the country now and have to deal with different timezones, but, we still manage to laugh and have fun designing spaces for our clients together via phone calls, text messages (lots of text messages!), and .
