Just taught these two classes at the Richfield quilt retreat. It was lots of fun. Really like teaching and am getting better at it. Thank goodness, the first classes were sketchy at best.

My latest quilt. Most of the blocks are from a Norma Whaley pattern “Sweet and Simple”. It is all wool hand appliqué. I designed the borders and quilted it. It is on my bed. I didn’t have a wall big enough to photograph it on. I quilted it with free motion and pro stitcher.

I finished another small quilt. I named it “Turtle Cove”. Fun to make and can be as easy or hard as you prefer, depending on the type of appliqué you choose. I may be teaching it at the Cedar Chest Quilters Retreat in February. If anyone would like to put together a group of students, I would be happy to teach any of my projects. I just finished this kit from Midway Wool. I did the wool appliqué, piecing and quilting. I designed my own sashing and border. I am pleased with the results.

I designed this quilt for the MODA fabric challenge. It was for UQSM which has been cancelled but they are still auctioning off the quilts for charity. It was fun. Ronnie Ronnie Cyphers-badgett pieced the flying geese border and Adriane Kadera stitched the outside border.

I just finished quilting this for a customer. The pattern is Family Farm by Sherrie McConnell. It was a fun one to quilt. I love a challenge.
