Hi all! This lovely gal on the left is Sue Gardner, Miss Wonderful’s source for almost all the vintage treasures you’ve seen in the store over the years. She was our picker extraordinaire. She also supplied us with her beautiful, cozy handmade mittens.
Now she’s got a space at Calico and Company in Waterloo! Go down the stairs and you’ll see her vintage goodies on the right corner. If it looks Miss Wonderful-y you’re in the right spot! She has a skilled eye for vintage and mid century. She’ll be selling her mittens there as well. Sue was so fun and easy to work with and we became good friends along the way. She’s a gem. I hope you will check out her shop!

It’s a wrap! Miss Wonderful is now permanently closed. I am grateful to all of you, my WONDERFUL customers. I had the time of my life here. I met so many people..customers that became dear friends and loyal regulars that supported MW and kept us going time and time again. What a community! I wish I could name you all!
I appreciate you beyond words.
Thank you to my loving family and friends. You are my rock(s).
I’m not sure what the next career adventure will be but I’m ready for it! I’ll see you all downtown on the other side of the counters. Supporting local businesses is crucial. Let’s commit to doing all we can for our small businesses. Much love to you all!! ❤️
