We had two broody hens (they wanted to be mommas), so we tried sticking a few two day old chicks under one. That failed, and when we tried the other hen, she was aggressive. Our plan backfired, so Fiona and I are now the proud moms of 4 sweet Easter Eggers. 😆 This one is my fav. She's the tiniest, and sweetest. She comes running up to us, which means she'll probably be a rooster. The sweet ones always are. 😂🤦‍♀️🐓🙄😍

I made a few more pairs last night, and in true crazy chicken lady form, cured them outside with all my hens running around. 😆🐔☀️

I've been missing my sweet mom today. I know she'd be so proud and cheering me on. Look at my vendor badge! Strawberries! The thing she collected most. 🍓 I think this cardinal was her visiting me too. 💜 I'm so excited to be a part of this event! 😄
