I'm excited to announce my new website, centervillewoodcrafts.com. All my wooden boxes and handcrafted signs are in the Shop, with most of my handmade pens. New pens and mechanical pencils will soon be added to the Shop The pics show that new work.

Hello Everyone,

Gene Fehskens here from Centerville Woodcrafts. I wanted to invite you all to this show on Saturday the 12th from 9am to 4pm. Jeanne, Michael and I will be exhibiting our crafts along with over 100 other vendors. In addition to my pens and wood boxes, I’ve significantly increased my offerings by adding cell phone stands, nightstand valets and CUSTOM WOOD ENGRAVED SIGNS! Hello everyone, Gene Fehskens from Centerville Woodcrafts here. I wanted you to all know about this super upcoming show on August 27th in Springboro. Jeanne and I just exhibited our crafts at the Yellow Springs Art on the Lawn show last weekend, and everyone who came to visit gave great reviews of both our craft work. My most critical guests were fellow woodworkers who all were impressed by the quality and beauty of my boxes and pens. So, please come over on the 27th. Hello Everyone,

Gene Fehskens from Centerville Woodcrafts here! Sorry for the short notice, but it's been a very busy week for us. I'm going to be showing my handmade pens and boxes at the Yellow Springs Art on the Lawn show tomorrow, from 10 to 5. Joining me with be Jeanne with her eco-printed cards, and our son Michael with his self-illustrated and published children's books. This show is at Mills Lawn School at 200 S Walnut Street in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

I was so thrilled with the laser engraving done by Tony Beran of Beran Laser Engraving + Woodworking that I had Tony engrave three more box lids. I've attached those pictures so you can see his work. I think they came out fantastic, and I hope you do as well.

I know this is short notice for tomorrow, so if you can't join us, Jeanne and I will be at the Springboro ArtFest on Main in 2 weeks, on August 27th.

Hello again, Gene Fehskens here.

Here's the last 7 of the boxes I've completed.

The prices for all 14 of my boxes created to date range from $90 for the smallest box, up to $365 for the first box I posted, the large American walnut box with the interior frame and sliding tray. The medium sized boxes range from $120 to $195 depending on features. So, variety in size and price.

I can custom craft boxes and pens to fit your wishes and connect you with a local laser engraver (Beran Laser Engraving + Woodworking) for that special person or occasion. Quick turn-around and expert quality for all work!

Hi everyone, Gene Fehskens here.

Here's a really special box that I recently completed. The base is walnut, and the top is sycamore. I had the box top laser engraved by a LOCAL artist, Tony Beran at Beran Laser Engraving + Woodworking, and he did an awesome job with super quick turn-around. You can check out his website too! I'll have this and all my other boxes and pens at the Springboro Arts Council Fundraiser tonight at Hidden Valley Orchards on Rt. 48 from 6 to 9. If it rains, we'll be inside the building. Hope to see you there!😀

Here's 3 more hinged top boxes I've created for sale that are more mid-sized (all roughly 7" long x 4 1/2 " deep x 3" high). The first is made of padauk with a padauk and lacewood lid. The second is santos rosewood base with a curly maple lid. And the third is made with a lati base and redheart lid. All boxes are really quite impressive and would be attractive in any decor, fitted with premium stop hinges and red velvet bottoms. Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed making these.
