Do you ever wonder about the stories behind the dainty old pieces you find? I do…
Like what if this vase once belonged to a young woman named Louise?

Let’s imagine that Louise kept this vase on a small table near her bedroom window, where the afternoon light landed on it just right.
The vase was a gift. Not extravagant. Not flashy. Chosen carefully.

The young man who gave it to her noticed how she loved small things. Flowers clipped from her Mama’s small garden. Wild stems gathered on morning walks. He thought she’d like something that could hold them.

Louise wasn’t one to rearrange often, and this vase never moved far. Sometimes it held flowers. Sometimes nothing at all. Still, she dusted it gently, like it always held something… and maybe in a way it did.

Years later, when life shifted and her last name and address changed, the vase followed Louise. Packed carefully. Kept, even when other things weren’t.

And now it waits again.
Something old…
filled with something new.
On a shelf.
For another shelf.
Another home.
Another story to quietly keep.

This story may not be true but this vase does have a story. If only it could talk…
