ππ₯ RHVFC BAGS, BEEF & BREWS β COMPETITIVE UPPER BRACKET CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP π₯π
If there was any doubt that the inaugural RHVFC Bags, Beef & Brews Co****le Tournament would attract top talent, it disappeared the moment the bags started flying.
Forty-eight competitors from across the region showed up to battle for a guaranteed $2,000 prize pool. Thanks to the incredible turnout and our commitment to paying back 100% of the entry fees, the total payout package swelled to nearly **$4,000**, attracting some of the best throwers on the Eastern Shore, including multiple ACL Pros.
The day began with four rounds of Switcholio play, where players teamed up with a different partner each round. Once the dust settled, the field was split into Upper and Lower Championship Brackets based on performance, with the top 24 players advancing to the Upper Bracket.
And what a field it was.
The Upper Bracket featured some unbelievable talent, led by:
π― Payton β 10.20 PPR
π― Just Coopβ’οΈ β 10.02 PPR
π― Gage β 9.61 PPR
π― Tibbs β 9.49 PPR
π― CORNSHAW β 9.26 PPR
π― Steven β 9.22 PPR
π― James L. β 9.13 PPR
π― Little Dirty β 9.12 PPR
When the bracket pairings were revealed, everyone knew there would be no easy path to the championship.
The King Seat was eventually secured by **Gage & Stuba Stebe**, who put together an impressive undefeated run through the winner's bracket. Along the way they defeated Tibbs & Captain Hook, Payton & Blind Squirrel, and Just Coopβ’οΈ & Braeden F. to earn their place in the finals.
But standing across from them was a dangerous team.
After an early-round loss, **Payton & Blind Squirrel** caught fire and tore through the contender's bracket. Their run included victories over Little Dirty & TyRob, Front Board Bandit & CORNSHAW, Chowder & Will Slagle, and finally Just Coopβ’οΈ & Braeden F. to punch their ticket to the championship match.
With the crowd gathered around the feature court, the championship was set.

When the final bags were thrown, it was **Gage & Stuba Stebe** who rose to the occasion, capturing the championship and becoming the first-ever RHVFC Bags, Beef & Brews Competitive Upper Bracket Champions.

The competition was outstanding, but what made this event truly special was the community behind it.
A huge thank you to the members of the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company for trusting Brackish Wooder to help bring this vision to life. Thank you to every firefighter, volunteer, family member, and committee member who worked tirelessly behind the scenes before, during, and after the event.
Thank you to the sponsors whose generosity helped raise more than **$25,000** in support of the Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company and its mission to serve and protect the community.
Thank you to the players who traveled from near and far to compete.
Thank you to the spectators who cheered, bought raffle tickets, enjoyed the food and drinks, and helped create an atmosphere worthy of a championship event.
Most importantly, thank you to the Rock Hall community for showing what can happen when people come together for a great cause.
The first Bags, Beef & Brews tournament set the bar high.
We can't wait to see what next year brings.
