Elevating this home from the moment you step inside! 🏡💫
The design story:

As part of a complete renovation & redesign project, we transformed the foyer into an inviting entry that sets the tone for the entire home.

Removing the walls between the entry and the kitchen/dining/living room flooded the spaces with natural light and allowed clear sightlines throughout.

With the help of we updated the foyer using the same neutral wall (Moonlight White) and trim (White Dove) paints as in the adjoining rooms. Paint not only visually connected the newly redesigned areas, but also helped us create a cohesive design plan for the entire first floor.

5 Tips to Make a Small Room Look Bigger 🏠👍:

1) Get the Lighting Right 💡 - whether it’s natural or artificial lighting, the brighter the space, the bigger it feels.

2) Stay Neutral 🎨 - in small spaces, sticking to a light, neutral color palette (especially on the walls!) helps keep things feeling open and airy.

3) Use Texture as a Tool 🛠️- instead of relying on color, create visual interest using texture and pattern in your design.

4) Extend the Eye Line 👀- remove any unnecessary interruptions of the view across the room (in our case, that meant removing a wall!)

5) Rely on Reflective Surfaces 🪞- use mirrors and other reflective surfaces to help throw light across the entire space.

Finally finished! TCI recently wrapped up a 10-month long *major* renovation & staging project in the heart of Orange Village, and we still can't believe the transformation. (Swipe ➡️ to see for yourself!)

For our most recent commercial project, we brought this once dark and dated office space out of the early 2000s by introducing a fresh color palette from and focusing on letting in the natural light. The result creates a happy, energetic vibe worthy of the creatives who work there!

**Design Quick Tip** An easy way to give your space a facelift is by sprucing up the millwork. For this project, we started by painting the orange-y wood trim a crisp white but opted to leave the interior doors in their existing stain. This created instant contrast and continuity between the lobby, conference room, offices, and hallways.
