Am I the only one?

I have a bit of a thing for vintage (and even
some modern) cookbooks. I rarely use them to cook (although I'm sure the recipes are AMAZING 😋). 🫑🥕🍗 I mostly use them to decorate. But I also just love old books! 📖 I have them all through my home decor. So why not have old cookbooks in the kitchen, right?

Although I've recently started infusing small pops of color into my largely neutral home decor, I absolutely love the simplicity, timelessness, and versatility of white and wood tones! And it's so easily updated with seasonal decor.

I recently refreshed some of our displays at 1833 Schiers Market, and this by far is my favorite spot. 😍😍

Happy Labor Day weekend! 🇺🇸 Guys...it's been soooo long since I did a live! I got a haul over the last few days that I'm excited to get to the store, but before I do that, I have a question about one of the treasures in the video. Let me know your thoughts. 🤔

So...all kinds of treasures to arrive today at 1833 Schiers Market...from ironstone (look at that roasty, toasty platter!! 😍) to wood to Moon & Stars glass to green-banded Watt bowls and whatever else I'm not thinking of.

The store is closed Monday Labor Day and will reopen Tuesday. Stop in this weekend to get first pick of the new pieces!

Hubby spotted this treasure sitting alone, cherished for decades but forgotten with time. Her beauty still shone through, although somewhat masked by years of use that left kitchen grease in the nooks and crannies, evidence of her service to a family whose mother made countless meals and pots of coffee and tea. 🍞 ☕️ 🫖

So I took her home, cleaned her up for around (over?) an hour, reassembled her, and now her beauty is front and center. She just needed some TLC.

She's heading to 1833 Schiers Market sometime soon. If I can fit her in, she'll be there today. 😍

Oh, and I forgot to mention, she can rest on your countertop, or you can even mount her on the wall!

Hey friends! Quandary: I found this beautiful multi-arm hanging candle holder that I'm trying to decide if I should KEEP OR SELL.

Our living room has no light fixture, so I was thinking of hanging it as shown (well, with less wonkiness), but I kind of don't want to deal with drilling into the ceiling to hang hooks to make it "swag." Plus my hubby is tall, and wonking his head on it would make him very testy.

If I make her available for sale, is there anyone who's interested? She's absolutely gorgeous! Photos just don't her do justice. She's 18 inches tall. (Cat not included. 🐈😁) She'd be $34.
