Imagine having this beautiful pond in your back yard with a chainsaw carved Wood Spirit on the shoreline, always keeping a watchful eye! Such a great way preserve part of a tree that had to be taken down. Absolutely love the addition to the landscape and the way this one turned out. Can’t wait to see what it looks like in the evening with some solar uplighting.

Add just like that, my first dragonfly is a wrap. Love the way this one came together. I decided to use a metallic paint to try to replicate the shimmer you often see on a dragonfly, and I can honestly say I was more than happy with how it turned out. Can’t wait for the customer to see in person. Will absolutely be carving more of these in the weeks/months to come. Please let me know what you think of this piece, composition, colors, etc…

So I had a customer reach out and ask me if I would be interested in doing a piece inspired by the “Gears Of War”. Not being a gamer, I asked for some background on what the game was about and what she had in mind. After a little back and fourth, we decided on the Gears Of War cog on a pile of rocks. I delivered it to her today and she was over the top excited and happy with how it turned out. Even if you’re not familiar with the game, you have to admit, it still looks pretty sick!!!
