When I was building my fence, this man and his dog walked by. He jokingly asked for a bench because he and his dog walk frequently and he wanted a place to rest. Little did he know, I couldn’t stop thinking about him and I had a few scraps laying around from the fence build. So I decided today was the day to give him what he asked for. As soon as I was done building it, he happened to walk by with his dog. He was so grateful! It brought me so much joy to build this for him. I love that I’ve been learning DIY for many reasons, but this is near the top of the list. 🥰 🥹

My girls have completely opposite ideas of what their room should look like…so I had to find a color that could grow with both of them.

I landed on Deep Rooted 311-7DB, Dutch Boy Paint 2026 Color of the Year, and honestly I couldn’t love it more. It’s timeless, cozy, and the perfect backdrop for all the fun floral details I want to add!
