Test Kitchen Friday

This morning’s experiments:

🍅 Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil Sourdough Croissant Bread
🍓 White Chocolate Strawberry Cream Cheese Sourdough Croissant Bread

Fresh out of the oven and headed straight to my favorite taste testers. The official verdict? Both are absolutely delicious. 🤍

Now the real question is… which one should make it onto a future bread drop menu? 👀

Part 1 of attempting to fix my 15-year-old KitchenAid mixer 🫠

What started as “I’ll just replace one little part” quickly turned into me covered in grease, questioning my life choices, and realizing Amazon absolutely sent me the wrong worm gear 🙃

Not exactly how I planned to spend vendor season as a cottage baker… but we’re figuring it out. Hopefully 😂

Stay tuned for part 2 because this project only gets more chaotic from here.

Still processing today because WOW 🤯

Despite the wind trying its absolute best to take us out 😅 so many handmade pieces found their new homes today.

✨ And somehow... ALL 32 loaves of sourdough 😳

Bread sold out. Cookies sold out. Brownies sold out. You all absolutely showed up today and I’m beyond GRATEFUL 🥹

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported Wild One, sampled bread, shared a post, or just came over to chat. Small businesses are built one customer at a time and today felt really special 💕

Now excuse me while I bake 12 more loaves and pretend I’m not exhausted 😂

Okayyyy I finally got a second to breathe 😅

Today has been BUSY and I’m honestly blown away. Bread flew off the table and I’m officially SOLD OUT of flights & loaves already 🤯

Current update:

✨ 7 cookies

My first sourdough flight box went out this morning and I am really loving how these turned out!

Four mini loaves, all the favorites in one box:
🧄 Garlic Parmesan
🌶 Jalapeño Cheddar
🍫 Chocolate Chip
🤍 Plain Croissant-Style Sourdough

Honestly this might be my new favorite way to share bread because now nobody has to choose just one 😅

Thank you so much for supporting my little handmade business and letting me create things like this. 💛

Two days before my event last weekend, my KitchenAid mixer decided it no longer wanted to participate in my bread business 🫠

So naturally, I convinced myself I could fix it.

Started off SO confident. Ordered parts using the model number, watched the videos, grabbed my tools, took the mixer apart like a mechanic in a rom-com montage…

Only to discover:
✨ the parts were wrong
✨ the inside of a mixer is a sensory nightmare
✨ grease somehow smells WORSE than it looks
✨ there are tiny metal rings specifically designed to ruin your evening
✨ I do not own snap ring pliers because apparently I’m not actually a mechanic

Meanwhile I still have bread and roll orders to fill, my poor hands are out here doing the work of industrial equipment, and I’m one greasy paper towel away from losing it 😂

So updated agenda:
➡️ Lowe’s for tools
➡️ Amazon for hopefully the CORRECT parts
➡️ continuing my descent into appliance repair against my will

Send help. Or someone with stronger hands than me to knead dough 😅
