Well, hello there! 👋 A whole lot of new faces around here after today’s Luxury Meets Intelligence panel at , so I figured a proper introduction was in order!
I’m Michelle Palmer Murphy, the designer behind DEMI RYAN, a lover of all things collected, colorful, and a little unexpected.
My journey has taken me from Cherry Hill to Philadelphia, Manhattan, and eventually Chapel Hill, with plenty of inspiration collected along the way.
I believe a home should have personality. That antiques and modern pieces make excellent roommates. That mixing patterns is practically an art form. And that the most beautiful spaces are the ones that tell YOUR story, not mine.
These days, my team and I are busy creating one-of-a-kind homes throughout the Triangle, the Carolina coast, and beyond.
And when I’m not dreaming up interiors? I’m exploring how technology (hello, AI!) can make the creative process even better without losing the very thing that makes great design great: the human touch.
So whether you’re a fellow designer, a future client, or just someone who appreciates a room with a little personality, welcome!
