My name is Judy Zandarski, I am an artist - I recreate furniture and I paint and design signs and home decor. My husband, Rick, and I are semi-retired from Corporate America but each of us wanted to use our talents - me, by envisioning what something could be rather than what it is, and Rick by sawing, hammering, nailing and whatever else he does to create miracles out of seemingly damaged-beyond-
all-repair pieces. I began painting furniture and decor out of necessity many many decades ago; while my circumstances have changed, my desire to create pretty things hasn't. The very first piece of furniture I ever painted was a curb find that became part of my "I'm a teenager" bedroom set. It was hot pink and orange (It was the late 60s, so don't judge LOL) and it was the most awesome thing ever. To my parent’s chagrin, I was totally hooked. Thankfully, my taste has evolved somewhat since then, but I still relish turning something old and unwanted into something new and beautiful that can be enjoyed for years to come. Rick and I created Jazz It Up as an outlet to both my creativity, his woodworking skills and both of our desire to restore beautiful wood pieces and give them new life and to create unique home decor pieces. We started with a two part mission: First - to create one-of-a-kind, fine quality furniture and accent pieces that will fill your family’s unique needs. Second - to do this in a way that most people can afford. When you buy a Jazz-it-Up piece, you can be assured that it has been fully prepped, (cleaned, repaired and primed) painted with two coats of chalk/mineral paint, then finished with sealer or waxes. Our pieces are not cheap mass-produced furniture; they are typically solid wood which has been carefully inspected and repaired prior to painting so that they will last for many years to come. As a result of our decades of experience we have found that by using only high-quality paints and finishes we can provide a far superior product to our clients in both appearance and durability. Obviously, this results in happier customers. As such, we have become an Elite Dixie Belle paint Retailer. The decision to go all in on this huge financial investment was based on our experience of using numerous other products until we finally found one that fit all of our needs and expectations. We found that in Dixie Belle products. Thank you for taking the time to visit Jazz It Up. We appreciate each and every one of our customers and are so grateful for your support. Judy & Rick
