Last week was such a special one for our family 🥰

We stepped away for a much needed Disney vacation and celebrated several big milestones all at once — my mother-in-law’s retirement, my mom’s birthday, and mine and my husband’s 10 year wedding anniversary 💞🏰✨

It was one of those trips I know we’ll always remember with our kids!

Now we’re back home settling into summer rhythms around the farm, calves are hitting the ground, and life is getting full again in the best way 🐮☀️

As much as I love constantly creating and restocking for A Touch of Western, I also know this season with little kids goes fast. So this summer I’m intentionally slowing things down a bit behind the scenes.

I’ll still be rendering tallow, making products, and prepping for upcoming vendor shows and fall events, but restocks may happen a little slower than usual while I focus more on family time and ranch life too 🤎

I realized something today though. I never even shared my current sale outside my VIP group.

I started making this tallow because I wanted something truly non-toxic for my babies… something I didn’t have to second guess putting on their skin. And now it’s what I reach for for everything… dry feet, my face, my kids’ skin, all of it!

Not gonna lie… this weekend was a little discouraging

Between the weather, missing day 2 of the festival, and just juggling life with littles… it didn’t go how I had hoped

Well… that escalated quickly 😅⛈️

Between the wind, the rain, and everything trying to blow away… seems that tomorrow’s forecast is looking even more unpredictable.

After careful thought and consideration, I’ve decided that I won’t be setting up for day 2 of the Tulip Festival.

AND to make things more exciting… both of my jersey cows are about to calve at the same time! So I’ll be on full milk maid duty over here very soon! 🥛🐄🥛 🐄😂

We’re set up at the Tulip Festival today on the East Side by the pond from 9–5 and tomorrow (Sunday) from 10–4 🌷

The weather cleared up (no rain 🙌🏼) so it’s the perfect excuse to come test some tallow and keep your skin happy! 🤎
