POV: No electricity. No problem.

We’re nearing the end of construction on one of our new build projects and I couldn’t wait to see the installed sconces illuminated against the tile — so I used AI to turn the lights on.💡

Before final photography, AI-generated previews help us to plan my angles, identify the money shots, and walk in on shoot day already knowing what shots we want to capture. It cuts hours off an already arduous day.

This is what practical AI use looks like in a design business— not replacing your eye (because AI could never), just giving it a head start and simplifying task to save time.

A few things I love about this space:
→ Wall sconces flanking the window (yes, they’re wet rated and shower-approved)
→ Arabesque tile on the tub wall
→ full height glass panel draws attention to the 10’ ceilings

A few years back, my family and I traveled to Atlanta and visited the King Center and all the nearby historical landmarks—Dr. Kings birth home and Ebenezer Baptist Church. To say it was an emotional experience would be an understatement.

Thinking about Dr. King’s life and impact, I’m grateful not just for what he was able to do in 39 short years, but how he did it, because how you do things is just as important as what you do! Today as I reflect on his life, I’m so grateful for the many opportunities that have been afforded to me and so many through his tireless, vigilant, and peaceful persuit for change.
