Hey DFDK friends! This week we wanted to show you before & after shots a newly updated kitchen from the Hurricane area that Lauren & B2 Construction completed. We wanted to go with a new, sleek, but inviting aesthetic in this space, using wood tones & neutrals to breathe new life into the space.

The Koch Cabinets in the slab style in the 'Wheat' finish pairs absolutely beautifully with the 'Taj Mahal' quartzite countertops. The wall tile from our friends at Smith Floor Covering is the Speartek 'Riveria' series, tab cabinet pulls & under cabinet lighting and outlets from Hardware Resources, and the beautiful new stainless appliances make this space pop. We were able to add a bunch of storage solutions in this space to make a small space feel much larger!

Once again, B2 Construction went to work doing many things you may not notice off hand like all the new ceiling lighting, a new modern fan, all new LVP flooring that went through the whole house, painting through the main areas, installing a new vanity, medicine cabinet, light, and cabinet in the bathroom, and completely moving the laundry area to another room so that we could open up the kitchen more. We are forever thankful for them, as well as all of our contractors for their continued hard work & going above & beyond.

Hey friends! Check out this gorgeous new space Lauren & B2 Construction put together for their client!

We wanted to keep the cozy wood idea to fit the house's aesthetic, but updated to a more modern styling. To accomplish this, we used Kemper Cabinetry in the 'Faye' door style in the 'Coastline' stain on maple, paired LaVenta Quartz in 'Calacatta Cascade' (fabricated by Bailes Granite & Marble)for the countertops & full height splash. The kitchen now has upgraded Whirlpool appliances, a huge Kohler farm sink, and gold hardware throughout.

You'll see construction wise that we opened the space up, taking down the old soffits and doorway into the former laundry room. We walled off the back door since she another another one in the living room, stretching the space out for huge pantry storage and room for the refrigerator. This allowed us to place the range and stainless hood on a main wall as a focal point. The guys did an awesome job refinishing the ceilings from popcorn to smooth, and adding can lights throughout the kitchen and adjoining dining room, as well.

Lauren, the contractors, & the client are all supper proud of the outcome of the space....and the cats seem fond of it too!

Hey friends, check out this stunning, recently completed kitchen. Lauren's clients wanted to expand their kitchen, making it much more functional for hosting, as well as everyday use. We also wanted to make sure it stylistically fit the house as well, making the new products blend with the existing aesthetic of the home.

We used Koch Cabinets 'Ridgegate' door style in 'Frost' on the main areas & stained 'Mocha' on the island, gorgeous 'Mascavo' leathered stone countertops from Bailes Granite & Marble , beautiful, pillowy tile from TileBar, and Amerock hardware throughout. The client found the island lighting from a Louisiana based company called Bevolo. You'll also see that we refinished the flooring, hugely expanded the opening into the space, and moved the door to the garage.

Lauren is beyond thrilled with how this space came together for the homeowners, even their little furry friends that you may have spotted in the photos!

Check out this kitchen that Darin recently did for his aunt! He used MasterBrand Cabinets in the Kemper line for the project & shipped the cabinets to South Carolina. He used the "Willowby"door style in the 'Coastline' stain on maple wood. We're loving how the cabinets blend with the gorgeous stone countertops and backsplash tile that she sourced locally there! This is a great example of a coastal vibe that isn't your traditional whites & blues.
