This lovely mirror came crashing down. Fortunately, the mirror did not break however it’s wood surround did break up in many pieces, especially the top area. After replacing every lost item, I re-glued, secured it in the back with new hanging wire, then carving all missing areas, and and last, but not least, the areas needed to be regild in gold. She’s now hanging back in pride place.

This week has been fall break at school but catch up on hand restoration weaving week.
