Five Eighth Seams Fabrics, Sewing Classes and More Five Eighth Seams is a retail fabric store that specializes in fabrics and sewing accessories.

Our fabric store will carry fine fabrics, notions, and Indy patterns. Sewing classes are listed on our website and range from ages 6 to adult. We do teach more adult classes throughout the year but we also offer sewing school and camps for kids. We carry Art Gallery, Robert Kaufman, Moda, Ruby Star, Freespirit, Kaffe, Riley Blake, and many many many more. We proudly sell and service Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff Sewing and Embroidery Machines.

Meet Jordan 💙
She learned to sew in elementary school and has been sewing consistently for over 20 years.

She’s been married to her husband Nick for 20 years this year and is a busy mom to three boys. When she’s not sewing or teaching, you’ll probably find her hanging out with her chickens 🐓

Jordan loves sewing all things, but bag making is definitely her favorite!

Meet Shannon 💙
She’s been sewing for 35 years and has a true passion for textile artistry and all things fabric. As a dedicated mom and grandmother, she brings so much patience and heart into everything she does.

You’ll see her working up front and in the classroom—helping, teaching, and sharing her love of sewing with everyone who walks through our doors.

Shannon is great with garment sewing, quilting, alterations, and more.

Excited to share my latest creation using the beautiful new fabric from Katarina Rochella with Art Gallery Fabrics! The “Soar” line is absolutely stunning and perfect for both apparel and quilting. I used the Brontë pattern by Style Arc, making a few customizations: I started with a smaller size in the shoulders, went up 2 sizes in the waist, and then went back to the middle for the hips. 💖 It was super easy to do with this pattern! The invisible zipper and pleats add a tailored touch, and I’m loving how the horizontal stripes maintain that A-frame vibe! I also took off 4 inches from the hem while keeping the scooped hemline intact. Don’t forget, there’s a sleeved version too! 🧵✨
