Back from market tired and inspired in the best way.

It’s always so much fun walking through the showrooms, taking it all in, and gathering ideas for clients.

I’m looking forward to a little time to regroup and let everything settle.

I’m not someone who really follows trends but you do start to notice them.

A color that keeps showing up.
A fabric you see more than once.
A pattern that starts to repeat.

I’ll share more of what I loved soon.

But for now rest, reset, and then back to work.

At High Point, I’m always looking for unique pieces for clients, especially art.

But honestly… I can tell pretty quickly how I feel about a showroom.

When it’s right, I always say the same thing:
“I could live here.”

It’s not about how much is in the space.
It’s how it feels.

Some showrooms just don’t have it
they feel a little cold, a little undone.

And then others… everything is considered.
Warm, inviting, layered in a way that just works.

Those are the ones I keep coming back to. ( And the ones with the good lunch + open bar)

I love a really well-styled vignette. That’s always my favorite part.

I am off to market today! High Point is the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world and it isn’t about finding more.
It’s about finding what’s right. (And apparently a really good umbrella)

I go in with a clear lens to see materials, scale, comfort, and how it will live in a home.

Because every piece has a place before it’s ever ordered.
