I have been married for 29 years, I have 2 wonderful boys a lovely daughter a Golden doodle and Newfi-dood. My passion started when i was a kid. I painted and moved the furniture around in my 10×12 bedroom every which way imaginable. I was always painting, drawing and making things. My family often reminds me it didn't stop there. I also “remodeled” the tree fort adding much needed embellishments

like windows with shutters, a proper roof made with garbage bags and duct tape, and of course a pulley system for our lunches to get delivered! MIRA VISU comes from the latin words, Mirabile, my maiden name, put together with Visu meaning “Wonderful to Behold”. Art & Design is Sooo Mira Visu to me. I started exploring my artistic capabilities more in my 20's creating whimsical murals, faux treatments to walls and furniture, painted floors and rugs. I also made window treatments, decorative pillows and ottomans, designed and drew up plans for remodeling projects, furniture pieces and built-in cabinetry for nearly 18 years. I am primarily self-taught, but continue to educate myself and stay up to date with the trends. I have attended Fairfield University for several design classes and attend workshops and trade shows whenever possible.
