ALL FIRKINS HAVE BEEN SOLD. Just unloaded these 7 wooden firkins (as found). All different sizes including small, medium, and large as well as short. All have lids. Not ancient old but I would guess 1960ish. Very reasonably priced $35-$55 each. Stop by Callaway Antiques or just let us know which one(s) you might be interested in. We will be glad to send additional pics and/or measurements. Two large wooden barrels with wooden bands and a tall skinny wooden churn with a tall extended handle has also been unloaded. (Only one barrel shown in this pic. The best one is elsewhere in the shop.)

Descent piece of pottery from Blount County, Tennessee. Potter William Grindstaff. Stamp reads "W Grinstaff" with the upside down "G" and the backwards "N" as well as the number "1" for the capacity of the vessel. Circa 1870's. No chips but unfortunately it has been cracked. Still a rare and lovely jar.
