Master bathroom renovation completed for a client just in time to list house, get multiple offers in days and accept offer for WAY over asking.

It’s been 4.5 months since we moved to Charleston. Our house has been going through the biggest renovation we’ve ever lived through. We’ve repainted every surface, refinished all the floors and added hardwoods where there was tile or carpet (master, kitchen and keeping room). We’ve ripped out all cabinets and started over. All the lighting is new and the list goes on. Here are pics of the main level. I’ll post the first floor soon and the third floor after Christmas once it’s complete. We’ve also been working on the outside too. It’s come a long way.

We closed on our new home a week ago and it’s a construction zone at the moment. Going to try and post pics and update weekly of the progress. We ripped out the entire kitchen (myself, husband, brother-in-law and dad). All tile, cabinets and appliances came out. Took out carpet and tile in master and pulled out carpet on first floor. Basically we are redoing all floors (4100 sq ft.) and repainting the entire house inside and out. We’ve ordered all new kitchen cabinets, appliances, lighting, etc. The landscape will also get a dramatic facelift. It’s stressful work...depending on others to do what they’re suppose to do but satisfying once it’s complete. The demo work was much quicker than expected on our end but lots of set backs have occurred along the way. I’ll get in to those later. Just keeping a positive attitude and praying that my husband and I stay healthy to continue the next week of work.

So we walked our house for the final time last night. We have spent countless hours and weekends updating and making it our home. I knew we wouldn’t be in the Columbia area long but it seems like it flew by. Thank you to all those who walked through our doorway at one time or another. Your friendship will always be a constant reminder of our time in the midlands.

It happened to be snowing the day I bought these cute flocked trees a couple weeks ago up in NC. Seems out of place now that it’s 72 degrees down here in SC.
