Recently completed these three paintings . I am enjoying incorporating faux finish/decorative painting techniques that I applied to so many clients’ walls and furniture over the last two decades . These pieces include faux bois, faux treillage and color washing .

Final step in this Hobcaw Den refresh: updated the fireplace brick surround with a Mortar Smear ( otherwise known as German Schmear ). Lightens up the fireplace area with a soft texture and color.
