We are Melanie and Teryn - a mother/daughter duo who have a love for furniture restoration and bringing life back into old, forgotten pieces! We have refinished many pieces of furniture over the years and always lean towards a shabby chic or coastal flair! Melanie is a "Mimi" to three granddaughters, so she's always up for a girly spin on decor! While we love the thrill of the hunt and finding gre

at pieces of furniture, we also provide custom painting. If you have furniture that no longer fits your personal style, is outdated, needs repairs or a facelift, we can help with that, too! Custom work is always a treat as furniture isn't made the same as it used to be! Solid wood furniture is hard to come by, so why not give that beauty a facelift!

A little sneak peek because this one is just TOO GOOD not to share. 👀🤎

She’s solid. She’s old. And she has details for days.

The carved accents, delicate trim, curved front, original hardware… they just don’t make furniture like this anymore. We gave her a fresh new look in Sherwin Williams Warm Stone and this color is SO good with all of that vintage character 😍

We’re still finishing her up, so you’ll have to wait a little longer for the full reveal but we have a feeling this gorgeous old gal is going to be a showstopper. ✨

This weekend was truly one for the books and that wouldn’t be possible without our amazing customers! Every visit, purchase, share, kind word, and bit of excitement you bring into Rust & Grain means more to us than you know.

Okayyy, this Drexel dresser deserves her moment. 🤎

She is SOLID and the craftsmanship and gorgeous details are exactly why we love finding these older, quality pieces and giving them a new life. The curves, the hardware, the details… timeless.

And can we talk about this COLOR?! 😍 It’s such a unique, warm neutral and somehow even better in person. Paired with that rich dark walnut stained top - we think she turned out pretty great.

She’ll be waiting for you at Rust and Grain this weekend and we seriously cannot wait to see y’all TOMORROW NIGHT! It’s going to be a GOOD one! ✨

We are SO CLOSE to the final booth reveal! 🍂We have a few finishing touches to add this week, but it already has the warm, cozy ambiance we were hoping for and we seriously cannot wait for y’all to experience it in person!

And this dresser and matching nightstands fit that feeling perfectly. Painted in the prettiest warm off-white with a beautifully stained wood top, this set feels classic, inviting, and timeless. So much storage, so much function, and just the right amount of warmth for a bedroom refresh.

Spent some time at the shop today getting everything ready for our Summer-ween Market at Rust and Grain and it’s officially starting to feel like fall. 🍂✨ The booth is filling up with cozy textures, warm colors, and so many beautiful finds that we can’t wait to share with you!
