In 201 Camp Building in Camp North End, the former warehouse space was transformed to the new flagship location of Hex Coffee, Kitchen & Wines.
Paying homage to the vision of HEX of pointed towards provenance, the space was designed with craft and restraint in mind. Elevation of the spatial experience through stripping away visual clutter to highlight their offerings.
Upon entry the space is organized around the central show piece of a espresso, coffee and wine bar. Featuring Modbar the art of coffee craft is on full display. Retail shelving flank the space with highlighted niches for merch, natural wines and beautifully packaged coffee.
The main cafe is comprised of site made board formed concrete benches, black stained and natural birch, and custom powder coated blue drink tables
The space also includes a double height flexible education, private event and open seating room comprised of birch bleachers seats limewash paint and planted trees
The overall palette plays off high contrast dark and light neutrals with a bold punch of blue accent. With all rooms being woven together with a large custom grid decorative light feature, the canvas allows the product to shine. Filled with natural light the space transforms thoughout the day into evening.
