One of my favorite spaces in the guesthouse to design.
This room was entirely about contrast, matte against gloss, rustic against refined. The velvety limewash walls soften the room, while the deep-green high-gloss tile catches and reflects the changing light throughout the day. Mixed metals, aged wood, and sculptural forms all work together to create a space that feels collected rather than overly polished.
At the center of it all is the carved natural stone vessel sink, whose raw texture became the perfect counterpoint to the more tailored details throughout the room. A quieter echo of the incredible farmhouse sink in the kitchen, and one of the details that helped tie the guesthouse together as a whole.
