This is the mandala style cardigan i made for my bonus mom after the first one came out too heavy and thick. Made with cotton sprout with a pattern from Garn Studio.

This came out with such a nice drape to it and so lovely. The colors she picked out came together so beautifully.

Finished this a few weeks ago. I didn't share it at first as I wanted to wait for my bonus mom to get it. Turns out it's a little thicker/heavier than I thought it would be, so it's now in the happy possession of her daughter in law.

It's super soft and cozy and warm and I had fun making it, though. 😁 Created with Basix Chunky in Thistle.

What I made for her instead came out really pretty. I'll share it soon!

🥰 I love how this little puppy came out!! I don't know if I'll ever get good with trying to use embroidery for details, but the felted details came out so great for this one, and I think allowed me a level of detail I definitely wouldn't have gotten with embroidery - which is what I tried first - anyway.

Finished up this baby blanket for some good friends who welcomed their beautiful little girl last month. I'm so very happy for them and wanted to gift them with something unique and full of love for the new addition to their family.

I used Cotton Sprout for this blanket and love how delightfully soft it came out and how easy it was to work with.

Hey folx
Wanted to share a recent commission I'm quite proud of. This was freehanded with some inspiration from several other hoods I've worked up over the years.

I haven't posted much for a bit.
There's just so much going on outside in the world around us, and life at home has also been a lot. I'm largely getting through commission work, and a couple items for family and close friends - such as the baby blanket I'm currently working on for some dear friends I'm incredibly happy for.

I hooked up several new hats last weekend but I've had no time to photograph. In the meantime, check out the amazing trolls at Dix Park in Raleigh, NC.

I would love to travel the world to each of the other locations. There's several in the U.S., but they're also in Denmark (where the artist, Thomas Dambo is from), France, Germany, Ireland, and many other places. They're so fascinating. 💜

Big thank you to everyone who came out to the put on by Craftastrophe this past weekend. It was a lovely day up until the rain rolled in in the evening, and I really loved seeing the great variety in vendors and offerings. Even my fellow crochet artists all had unique products and it didn't feel like there was any of the usual overlap I've gotten so used to seeing in crochet and 3D printing. Fantastic job by the organizers offering up a unique market experience.

We had a couple bumps, I think, but I just know the next one is going to be even better! I totally failed to get any pictures, but thankfully my partner snapped a few after we finished setting up. I wish I'd gotten some of some of the other fantastic setups and offerings on display, but I guess that just means you'll have to come check them out next time! 😁

Oh! And I'll definitely be stitching up some more of those Pixie Hoods since they were such a hit! Only the pink one left for now. 😉

Come visit the Faelight Festival this weekend in Dallas NC on Saturday, November 8th. We'll be out there all day enjoying the sunny cool weather, the festivities, the wandering storytellers, and the amazing wares.

I'm also vending for this event, so be sure to come by and say hi, and check out the fun new pixie hoods, mushroom bags, and other handmade clothing and accessories I've been working on for the past few weeks. :D
